Hey Beautiful souls,

This space, "Daily Devotionals with Jayjay: A Walk with God," under my handle as Sovereign Water Bearer Oracle, is built on a foundation of open hearts and the understanding that we're all walking this path together, in our own unique ways. That's why making this a place where everyone feels welcome and can connect is so important to me.

Just like in our spiritual journeys, where we stumble and rise, this website is also a work in progress on the path to being fully accessible. My intention is that no matter how you connect with this digital space – the technology you use, the way your body or mind navigates the world – you can access the reflections and connection shared here.

What I'm Doing to Make This Space Accessible:

  • Speaking Clearly: I aim to use language that's easy to understand, just like a heartfelt conversation.

  • Seeing for Others: I'm doing my best to describe any visuals with words, so if you can't see them, you can still get the essence.

  • Guiding the Way: I'm trying to make the site flow logically, so it's easier to navigate, whether you're using a mouse, a keyboard, or something else.

  • Making it Easy on the Eyes: I’m paying attention to how the words look against the background, trying to make it comfortable for everyone to read.

  • Fitting All Screens: This space should adjust to whatever device you're using, big or small.

Where Things Stand (The Honest Truth):

My goal is to align this space with the spirit of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA – think of it as striving for a really good and inclusive foundation. But being real, as this is a personal journey and website, there might be areas that aren't quite there yet. I'm learning and growing, just like we all are.
