Daily Devotional Entry#33:

Surrendered Heart- “O my son, give me your heart. May your eyes take delight in following my ways.” Proverbs 23:26 [NLT]

Q & A?:

When the familiar closeness to the Divine seems to fade, and a sense of distance settles in, how do we intentionally reconnect and draw near once more?

My answer:

There's a deep desire in my heart for an equal partner, a kingdom husband from God. This longing feels significant, especially as I've learned the importance of securing loved ones' well-being through my children's upbringing in their father's faith. It's in continually offering my heart to the Lord and seeking to understand His ways that I find guidance in this desire.

I hold onto this desire because it's a long-held vision from God. Letting my children find their own way has taught me to trust divine timing, keeping my focus on His path and believing that all will align according to His wisdom. I believe that when we are all aligned, my destined blessings, including this marriage, will unfold naturally for all to see, as I keep my heart surrendered to His will and my eyes fixed on His direction.

This yearning isn't a need, but a hope for a divinely timed partnership. I trust God's plan implicitly, striving to give Him my heart fully and observe the unfolding of His ways in my life as I await its manifestation.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gentle invitation in Proverbs to give You our hearts and observe Your ways. Guide us as we navigate the desires within us, always seeking Your wisdom and trusting in Your perfect timing. May our hearts be fully surrendered to You, and may our eyes be open to the unfolding of Your divine plan for our lives. Amen.
