Since we see the chance for life as so precious, especially for folks who have trouble having kids or face tough situations like inherited health issues or pregnancies with really hard beginnings, how can we be kind and supportive to everyone while also truly valuing that potential life and finding loving ways to help?

💛🤲Because of my own battles with health that made having children a difficult dream, the potential for life became incredibly precious to me – a true gift I longed for. This feeling only grew stronger when I considered the added challenges some face, like the possibility of passing on difficult health conditions or the heartbreaking reality of pregnancies from violence. Knowing how much it hurt to yearn for a child or to imagine a life with serious health hurdles made it impossible for me to see that potential life as anything less than profoundly valuable.

🌼I was even blessed with two children of my own, and I remember a time when I almost made a different choice with one of them because we did not know if we were ready for another baby ourselves. It was the unwavering support and religious beliefs of his family that thankfully steered us away from that decision. That personal experience solidified for me the profound significance of every potential life and the importance of choosing life whenever possible.

🌼We are all given free will and the power to make our own choices, and those decisions in the face of such complex situations are deeply personal. Yet, I also believe that in the end, we will be judged by the intentions of our hearts. So, when we ask how to be kind and supportive while still valuing that potential, my heart tells me it's about pouring our energy into truly caring for everyone involved. For those facing tough pregnancies, it means offering real, loving support and alternatives that honor their pain and their circumstances, while also deeply respecting the unique chance at life that exists. It's about finding ways to help and uplift everyone, choosing solutions that, in our hearts, truly affirm and cherish that precious potential, even when things feel incredibly hard.💛🤲

🤲Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we lift up all those facing difficult decisions about pregnancy, those longing for children, and those carrying burdens of pain and hardship. Grant us hearts filled with compassion, wisdom to offer true support, and a deep reverence for the gift of life in all its stages. Guide us to choose love and understanding, and help us to always value the precious potential within each human being. Amen.🤲
