Daily Devotional Entry#154:


Your Job- “Then she left, and went and gleaned in the field after the reapers. And she happened to come to the part of the field belonging to Boaz, who was of the family of Elimelech. Now behold, Boaz came from Bethlehem, and said to the reapers, 'The LORD be with you!' And they answered him, 'The LORD bless you!' Then Boaz said to his servant who was in charge of the reapers, 'Whose young woman is this?' So the servant who was in charge of the reapers answered and said, 'It is the young Moabite woman who came back with Naomi from the country of Moab. And she said, "Please let me glean and gather after the reapers among the sheaves." So she came and has continued from morning until now, though she rested a little in the house.” Ruth 2:3-7 (NKJV)

My answer:


Every morning, as the sun begins to paint the sky with hues of pink and orange, I start my day with a moment of gratitude. It's a practice that grounds me, reminding me that even in the midst of deadlines and deliverables, there's a deeper purpose to my work. My work, like everyone else's, is a unique blend of things I absolutely adore and those that, well, are less thrilling.


What I Love-

I truly cherish the moments of connection in my day. Whether it's collaborating with a teammate to brainstorm a new idea for Akamai Greenlight Solutions LLC, or guiding someone through a challenging spiritual moment through Daily Devotionals w/ JayJay Sovereign Water Bearer Oracle, those instances where we connect on a human level and build something together are golden. There’s a beautiful flow that happens when minds meet with a shared intention, and witnessing a project come to life or seeing someone find clarity is incredibly rewarding.


I also find immense joy in the act of creation. There’s something deeply satisfying about taking a space in disarray and transforming it into a clean, harmonious environment. Similarly, in my journey as a spiritual navigator, mentor, and healer in the making, I love taking complex life experiences and helping to shape them into understanding and growth for others. It feels like a small act of bringing order and peace to the universe, and seeing the impact of my efforts, even in a small way, truly lights me up. It’s like tending to a garden – nurturing seeds until they bloom into understanding and beauty.


And finally, the opportunity for learning and growth is something I deeply appreciate. Every day presents new challenges, whether it's optimizing a cleaning process or deepening my spiritual understanding to better serve those I guide. These are constant invitations to expand my horizons, to stretch my mind, and to become a little bit better than I was five years ago. This continuous evolution is a spiritual journey in itself, an unfolding of potential for myself and for others.


What I Dislike-

Now, for the parts that are a bit more challenging. Like most, I sometimes find myself wrestling with repetitive tasks within the cleaning side of my work for Akamai Greenlight Solutions LLC. You know, those necessary but not-so-exciting bits that need to be done. While I understand their importance for maintaining quality and efficiency, they don't always spark the same creative energy. It's in these moments that I remind myself of the bigger picture, the "why" behind the "what"—the clean, serene space we create for others.


Another aspect that can be trying, particularly in both my cleaning work and my spiritual training, is navigating through unclear communication or misunderstandings. Whether it's a client's specific cleaning request that isn't quite clear for Akamai Greenlight Solutions LLC, or someone struggling to articulate their spiritual journey through Daily Devotionals w/ JayJay Sovereign Water Bearer Oracle, it can sometimes feel like trying to solve a puzzle with half the pieces missing. These situations require a lot of patience and gentle persistence to untangle, and while resolution is always a relief, the process itself can be draining.


Regardless of what I love and what I find challenging, I am deeply committed to being a diligent worker. This isn't just about showing up; it’s about showing up with integrity, with a willingness to learn, and with a dedication to giving my best in every aspect of my work. It's about recognizing that every task, whether it's scrubbing a floor or listening deeply to someone's spiritual struggles, contributes to the whole, and that my efforts, no matter how minor they may seem, have an impact. This commitment is a spiritual practice in itself – a dedication to presence, effort, and service, flowing from a place of gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to the well-being of others and the spaces they inhabit.
