Our Sustenance- “With You is the fountain of life; in Your light we see light.”- Psalm 36: 9 (NKJV)

What has God’s light helped you to see?


My answer:

One of the most powerful things His light has revealed to me is peace in unfolding circumstances. Life has a way of presenting unexpected turns, and I used to feel quite a bit of anxiety when I couldn't see the whole path ahead. But through prayer and simply trusting in His presence, I've learned I don't need to have all the answers right now. I can just lean into Him, knowing He's already there, guiding each step, even when I can only see a glimmer of what's next. His light has also opened my eyes to spot grace in the most unexpected places. It's easy to look for grand miracles, but sometimes we miss the quiet, tender blessings woven into our everyday—a beautiful sunrise, a friend's timely message, or that soft whisper encouraging me to just breathe.



And on a deeply personal level, His light has guided me to understand true forgiveness and self-compassion. There were times I held onto past mistakes or felt I fell short. His light doesn't just illuminate those areas; it shines grace upon them. It gently reminds me that I am loved and worthy, exactly as I am, making it so much easier to extend that same forgiveness and kindness to myself and to others. This journey of seeing with His light is ongoing, of course. There are still moments of shadows and learning. But I am so incredibly grateful for every ray of His wisdom, guiding my steps, healing my heart, and empowering me to live with greater clarity and kindness each day.



Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your light that continually guides us. We pray for open eyes and hearts to see the peace in Your unfolding plan, the grace in unexpected places, and the truth of Your forgiveness and compassion. Help us to walk in Your light, trusting You in every step. Amen.
