The New- "I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland." Isaiah 43:19 [NLT]
Q & A?:
Imagine, for a moment, what it would feel like to release the burdens that weigh you down and surrender them completely to the Divine. What might unfold in your life if you let go and allowed miracles to blossom?
My Answer:
For me, the act of surrender brought a profound sense of peace, but the journey to that peace was paved with invaluable lessons. Carrying the weight of unhealthy connections, of those who sought to dim my light or control my path, ultimately forged within me a strength and wisdom that feels beyond my years, perhaps even echoing the experiences of those who walked this earth before me. I navigated not only neglect but also the disingenuousness of those drawn to the attention surrounding me, individuals who would crowd near, not to connect, but to subtly diminish my spirit or impose their will, despite my sincere efforts to be a positive presence in their lives. The lack of genuine reciprocity often saddened me deeply.
Yet, within the solitude that followed, I discovered a precious sanctuary. I constantly thank God for His unwavering protection through these experiences. It can be disheartening when people, places, and even things seem to naturally fall away, especially when the projections of others try to place the blame inward, almost causing one to reject their own essence. For a time, I even started to question my own worth, to believe the negative narratives cast upon me. But with clarity, I've come to understand that these projections often stemmed from the insecurities of others, insecurities that, for reasons I'm still learning to fully grasp, I seem to draw to the surface in those near and far.
However, releasing these burdens – the gaslighters, the time abusers, the energy drainers – allowed God to usher in a season of tranquility. I recognized that I was no longer meant to be surrounded by neglect or the immaturity of others. My time, my energy, my very being are sacred gifts, not to be sacrificed on fruitless endeavors or the projections of others.
May the Lord always guide our steps with divine wisdom as we courageously surrender what no longer serves us and declutter our lives, making space not only for His abundant grace but also for the profound self-acceptance and understanding that comes from navigating these challenging terrains.
Heavenly Father, as we reflect on the courage it takes to surrender and the wisdom gained through challenging relationships, we come before You with hearts open to Your guidance.
Thank you for illuminating the lessons embedded in our struggles, for the strength You cultivate within us through adversity, and for the clarity that emerges when we release what no longer serves our highest good. We are grateful for the precious gift of solitude, a sanctuary where we can hear Your still, small voice and reconnect with our truest selves.
We pray for discernment for each person reading these words, that they may recognize the projections of others and not internalize negativity that is not their own. Grant them the wisdom to set healthy boundaries, the courage to release toxic connections, and the self-awareness to understand their own energetic impact on the world around them.
May they find solace in Your unwavering protection and trust in Your divine plan, knowing that even when things fall away, it is often to make space for Your abundant grace and the blossoming of new blessings. Strengthen their understanding of their own worth, reminding them that they are sacred and deserving of genuine connection and peace.
In Your loving embrace, we offer this prayer, trusting in Your wisdom and Your unfailing love. Amen.
